I haven't had the opportunity to post for sometime. I like many of you have been devoting much of my time to help candidates in Iowa and across the country.
Last Friday, I joined Ross Miller, one of our candidates for Secretary of State, to deliver our VOTES Declaration to the Secretary of State's office in Carson City, Nevada.
Since May, the communities of Heartland PAC and DailyKos have helped support candidates for Secretary of State. We've joined forces to help ensure we elect candidates who believe voting is a right not a privilege.
More than 10,000 people signed the VOTES Declaration and together we sent a loud and clear signal to our election officials.
I posted about the other deliveries made in Ohio, Florida, and Ken Gordon shared his story from Colorado.
We want to make our voices are heard in every state - to the incumbents who will run this year's elections and to candidates vying to be entrusted with future elections. It's time we elect candidates who will restore confidence and integrity to the electoral process. Ross Miller is one of those candidates.
Ross Miller stands by the Declaration.
Ross Miller's opponent, Danny Tarkanian, has a very different set of priorities. His number one priority is to support a draconian ID law similar to the one recently struck down Georgia.
I was proud to stand by Ross Miller today to deliver your signatures to the Nevada Secretary of State and to do what I can to help ensure his victory on Election Day.
Please help his campaign by visiting his website and doing what you can to help:

Thank you again for helping with the VOTES Declaration and giving Secretary of State candidates the help they need.
Your support of these Secretary of State races can make and will make a difference Election Day and for years to come. I think we are going to have a good night on November 7th and if we do it's because you and a lot of other dedicated Democrats like you made it happen.
As usual Kevin will be monitoring the thread to make sure I
get questions passed on to me via my blackberry. I will
respond as soon as I can.
